The song "Abissa" was originally written by Kouame Lystrone. Abissa is a well-known folk song and refers to a cultural tradition and festival of the Nzema people, who are part of the Akan Tribe located in southeastern Côte d'Ivoire and southwestern Ghana. The festival is celebrated in the last week of October and focuses on forgiveness, rebirth, and community celebration through music, dance, and spirituality.
